Segerstrom/Owen Suite
Originally known as the “Owner’s Room” in the architect’s drawings, the Charles Segerstrom Room is the largest bedroom in the house.
Windows to the East and South offer views of historic downtown Sonora including Washington Street, Stewart and Barretta Streets. Below is Knowles Hill’s beautiful and fragrant rose garden. This air-conditioned second story corner room for two, features a California-King bed with an extremely comfortable mattress. A magnificent, three-story-high balcony overlooking the rose gardens is shared with the Herbert Hoover Room.
Amenities include a master bath with two pedestal sinks, a shower/tub with all of its original nickel fittings, a walk-in closet, dining set for two, comfortable wing-back chair and ottoman. It has a smart TV, free internet access and two plush bathrobes.
The adjoining Ruth Bryan Owen Room—originally the nursery in the 1927 Segerstrom home—features a delightful woodland theme with a dramatic queen size cast iron “tree” bed and a queen size leather sleeper sofa to accommodate a total of four people.
The rate for this suite is based on four guests. Two additional guests can be accommodated for $50 per person.
